If you were to fall in love with me,
you would, as some people say,
let me take your breath away.
Then you couldn't live another day.
I don't want things that way.

If you were to fall in love with me,
your fall, as far as I can see,
would be cushioned by a breeze
blowing softly under your knees
so you would not touch the ground.

If you were to fall in love with me,
I know, there is a real  possibility
of moments we'd share endlessly
while loving each other romantically.
Breathing would keep the love alive.
