Sounds of Christmas carols fill the air,
and it's a white Christmas everywhere

Friends and family gather around, 
most of them from out of town

The holidays bring a time of cheer
when people send special cards
to those we won't be able to see,
but who are still close to our hearts.

Lights glow on the evergreen tree with
decorations that are delightful to see
because it's Christmas again, this year.

Sweet smells come from the kitchen
and homemade food isn't worth missing.
because it's Christmas again, this year.

Presents given at this time of year
make our feelings for each other clear,
because it's Christmas again, this year.

This really is a special time
to celebrate Jesus' birth
and to be thankful for what we have
while we're here on God's earth.
